Are you familiar with what is called the Murphy's law? Well it goes along these lines "anything that can go wrong will go wrong". The following are typical examples of just that. Enjoy (or not)!

1. The line: When you are waiting on a line and decide to switch to a faster moving one, then, the one you left, will start moving faster. 2. The phone: When you call the wrong phone number it's never busy. 3. The mechanic: When you are fixing something and your hands get really dirty, at that point your nose or some other part of yours will start icthing. 4. The lab: Any falling object will end up in the least accessible place for you to grab. 5. The bus stop: When you are standing at a bus stop long enough and decide to light a cigarette, at that point the bus will show up. 6. The alliby: When you lie at work that, for example, your tire blew and that's why you were late, then the next day it will actually happen. 7. The bubble bath: When you get in the tub and start relaxing, the phone will ring. 8. The meet up: The chance of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you don't want to be seen together. 9. The proving: When a machine is not working well and you try to prove it to the guy that came to fix it, then it will work. 10. The theater: The people that have the furthest seats from the alley will arrive late. 11. The coffee: Once you make yourself some nice hot coffee your boss will ask you to do a job that will take the exact time needed for the coffee to get cold
