Marketing techniques are complicated and most of the time full of terms and words that common people have no clue. Well here is a "Marketing for dummies" (like me) example. Enjoy!

You're in a party and you see a pretty woman. You approach her and you say: "I am very good in bed". This is called Direct Marketing. You're in a party with your friends and you see a pretty woman. A friend of yours approaches her, shows you and says: "He is very good in bed". This is called Advertising. You're in a party and you see a pretty woman. You walk up to her and ask her for her phone number. The next day you call in and say: "Hi, you know i'm very good in bed". This is called Telemarketing. You're in a partu and you see a pretty woman. You approach and buy her a drink. You fix up her dress and you say "Oh, by the way, i'm very good in bed". This is called Public Relations. You're in a partu and you see a pretty woman. She walks up and says: "I heard that you are good in bed". This is called Product identification. You're in a partu and you see a pretty woman. You walk up to her and persue her to take your friend home. This is called Product Promotion. But she is not happy with your friend and she calls you. This is called Technical Support.
